MICROSOFT OFFICE:

Access: Level 1 $195

In this course, students learn the basics skills necessary to begin using Access; designing and creating databases, tables, queries, forms and reports.
Prerequisites: Windows 95/98/XP/NT: Introduction

Access: Level 2 $195

Learn how to enhance your database designs by using the principles of normalization and table relationships. Also, learn how to query multiple tables for data that is used in customized forms and reports, and how to create data access pages to share data over an intranet or the Internet.  Learn techniques to save time by controlling data entry and automating tasks. Become familiar with Access features to customize forms and reports.
Prerequisites: Access Level 1

Access: Level 3 Advanced $235

Learn to use a variety of complete query techniques, create more efficient forms and reports, and create and use macros to automate their forms. Gain experience with Internet-related features, including hyperlinks and the Web toolbar.

Learn how to develop an Access application and tie the objects together by using macros and VBA code.

Excel: Level 1 $195

Students learn basic worksheet skills and how to work with data in worksheets by learning how to us an electronic spreadsheet to create basic data reports.
Prerequisites: Windows 95/98/XP/NT: Introduction

Learn the skills and concepts necessary to create charts and utilize the data management capabilities of Excel.

Students will examine the basics of customizing their workbooks with macros written in VBA code.

Office Transition 2000 - 2003 $235

An experienced student who has used Office 2000 or Office XP with basic knowledge of the applications, and needs to know the new features of Office 2003.
Prerequisites: Before taking this course, students are required to take the following courses or have equivalent knowledge: Windows XP: Introduction Word 2000: Level 1 Excel 2000: Worksheets PowerPoint 2000: Level 1 Access 2000: Level 1 Outlook 2000: Level 1

PowerPoint: Introduction $195

Students learn the basic skills necessary to begin creating effective presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. Students will learn how to create and edit bullet slides, use PowerPoint’s drawing tools, incorporate clip-art and WordArt, create and enhance organizational charts, and create
and edit charts by using Microsoft Graph.

PowerPoint: Level X $235

This hybrid class features a morning session that includes the basic features of PowerPoint allowing a student to create a simple presentation. The afternoon session focuses on more advanced tasks to complete a formal presentation. This course is intended for a basic PowerPoint user in need of a refresher course looking to also learn more advanced tasks that may be immediately usable within their profession.

Prerequisites: Familiarity with PowerPoint

PowerPoint: Advanced $235

Students learn advanced features of PowerPoint, including customizing templates and the PowerPoint environment, and making a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and active buttons. Students learn how to enhance a presentation by using custom clip-art, animation and movies, and work with embedded and imported objects by using Microsoft applications.

Word: Level 1 $195

In this course, students learn the basic skills necessary to begin using Word. Students will learn how to create and edit documents and use character and paragraph formatting.

Students learn intermediate features of Word. Students learn how to create and control section breaks, tables, merges, styles, templates, macros, and Web pages.

Students learn advanced features of Word; how to apply styles, create forms, use form fields, add graphics, work with large documents, share documents, and prepare documents as intranet web pages.

Outlook: Level 1 $195

Students learn the fundamentals of using Outlook to coordinate mail, appointments, events, meetings, tasks, and contacts. Students learn how to send and receive mail, schedule appointments, insert events, schedule meetings, create and manage tasks, and organize contacts.

Outlook: Level 2 Advanced $195

Students learn advanced features of Outlook, including integrating Outlook components, creating custom forms, importing and exporting data, and creating messages in HTML mail format. This course meets the Microsoft Proficiency Guidelines for Outlook at the Expert level.

DESIGN & GRAPHICS:

Acrobat: Introduction $195

Explore the Acrobat environment and practice creating and manipulating Portable Document Format (PDF) files.  Topics include:  how to create & modify a PDF file, how to add sound and movie clips, how to annotate, how to create PDF forms, how to create an index of PDF documents, how to add security to PDF documents, and how to distribute.

CorelDraw  Intro  $195 

Students will become familiar with the CorelDraw interface and tools.  Students will start with the  basics of drawing shapes, reshaping, and moving within the document.  Further, you will learn to fit text to path and draw with the use the Artistic Media Sprayer tool, and save a drawing. 
Import a file, ungroup and modify objects, and add graphic images.

PageMaker: Level 1 Intro Basic Skills $235

Learn to use PageMaker to create single- and multi-page documents.  Students will also learn to control frames and will work with formatting and graphics.

Publisher: Level 1 Intro $195

Learn to create customized documents from scratch.  Students will create a multi-page document, import and format text and graphics, and crate the document's layout.

Visio Professional: Level 1 Intro Basic Skills  $195

Learn basic concepts for creating flowcharts and basic network diagrams.  This includes learning the basics for using and creating shapes, printing drawings, creating custom stencils, and many time-saving shortcuts and techniques designed to increase user productivity.

Visio Professional: Level 2 Advanced Skills  $195

Learn advanced concepts for creating flowcharts.  The class will also include learning to control shape behavior, using layers, formulas, working with linked data and OLE objects.

WEB SITE DESIGN:

Front Page: Level 1 Intro $235

Students learn how to apply paragraph and character formatting to web pages. Students will learn how to create links between and within pages, create links to the World Wide Web, create a navigation bar, and insert and create links from images.  They will also insert and format tables and learn how to import delete, and rename a web, as well as how to publish a web.

Macromedia Dreamweaver MX : Level 1 Intro $235

This course teaches students the fundamentals of using Dreamweaver MX to create Web pages and Web sites. It introduces students to basic Web and HTML concepts and how to use Dreamweaver tools to design a Web page

Macromedia Fireworks MX : Level 1 Intro $235

This course teaches students the fundamentals of using Fireworks MX to design high-quality images for the Web. It introduces students to bitmap and vector graphics, file formats, and how to create and save documents.

Macromedia Flash MX : Level 1 Intro $235

This course teaches students the fundamentals of using Flash MX to design animations for the Web.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project: Level I $235

Learn to identify the steps in project planning and work with tasks and resources. Students will work through creating a project plan and learn the basics of MS Project.

Project: Level II Advanced $235

Learn to create a baseline and track progress on an active project.  Students will also learn how to customize views and reports.

REPORTING:

Crystal Reports: Level 1 Intro Basic
(Onsite group classes only call for price)
Learn the basics of creating reports using Crystal. Learn to create, modify and format reports. Students will also learn to group records and write formulas.

Crystal Reports: Level 2 Advanced
(Onsite group classes only call for price)
Learn to create more complex reports that include sub reports, parameter fields, charts, variables, and advanced functions. Students will also learn about the SQL-Query designer and dictionary features.

Fundamentals of E-Commerce $235

E-Business: Fundamentals of E-Commerce is an introductory-level course designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of some of the fundamental concepts related to E-Commerce.
